Stonehenge has to be on the agenda on a trip for John O’ Groats to Lands End. Our topdogdays tour is marking the fact that more people than ever are enjoying staycations and if you can bag a bargain on route, then its a holiday on a budget!
Stonehenge is free of charge for English Heritage and National Trust members – this is worth signing up for if you plan to visit a number of sites during the year. One way to join English Heritage on the cheap, is by using your Tesco clubcard vouchers to either pay in full or part pay towards your membership costs. Every £10 in Tesco clubcard vouchers will provide you with £40 off your English Heritage annual membership.
Parking will put you back £3 but show your parking ticket to the admissions kiosk to receive a full refund. Stonehenge is packed this time of year and an early visit might be advisable if you wish to miss the queues; door open at 9am during August!
Cornwall is next!
