Have you seen the recent Tesco advert about it’s clubcard offers? It’s true that spend £150 in Tesco and you can opt for a free Cineworld ticket.
The Tesco clubcard deal works on the principal that for every £1 spend, you receive 2 clubcard points and for every 100 points earned you receive a £1 voucher. This £1 can be redeemed up to 4 times it’s value in days out rewards.
This said, it doesn’t cost you £12 for a cinema ticket! For value for money, it would be better spent on rewards such as a Merlin Annual Pass where your vouchers will give you the full 4 times it’s value.
Any thoughts on this one?

However the Merlin Pass does come with some restriction on use, (mainly during August for London attractions and Fright Nights at Thorpe Park).
If you are looking for completely unrestricted access throughout the season, try the new Merlin Premium Annual Pass. Individual tickets cost £200 person and are available online if this is the one for you.

Following from my earlier post about buying Warwick Castle for Christmas Day, news has just come in that the winning bid went for £27,000. 8 bids were received in total and Merlin Entertainment has now opted to donate the full amount to it’s in house charity, Merlin’s Magic Wand.
That’s going to be some Christmas for the lucky bidders!
