A selection of the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon Gold ever found is returning to Stoke on Trent in time for February half term.  The Potteries Museum will be displaying the collection and what’s more, there’s no charge for admission!

Legoland Discovery Centre opening in Manchester

Pink tickets still available for Alton Towers

Tickets still available for the hugely popular Pink gig at Alton Towers on 27 June 2010.  30,000 tickets are to be sold where Pink will perform on the front lawn in the evening at Alton Towers.

Alton Tower’s theme park maybe closed but the Water Park isn’t!

With the weather closing in, Alton Tower’s water park might be just the ticket.  Open throughout the year, the park has rides and thrills to keep everyone amused for quite some time.

Tickets start at £14 for adults & £10 for children.  A wide range of family tickets are available and they even offer season tickets for the water park nowadays!

Remember if you are off to Alton Towers, there is no access to the park through the village of Alton as Farley Lane/New Lane is currently closed to all traffic.

Road closure restricts access to Alton Towers

If you are travelling to Alton Towers for a winter break in next few weeks, beware there is no access to Alton Towers through the village of Alton as Farley Road/New Lane has been closed off.

If you have a Sat Nav system, it would be well worth looking for a route diversion to avoid any delay or, alternatively,  follow the diversion route as directed.
