Legoland have announced open auditions for the position of Model Builder for the new Legoland discovery centre that is set to open in March 2010. If you want to be in charge of building the exhibits at the new centre, then step down to the Lowry Hotel, Manchester on 27 November and face the challenge!
The first task will be to create an animal figure in 15 minutes out of lego, (of course!) If you make it through to the second heat, sources tell me that contestants will then need to build a famous face to wow the judges.
Best of luck if you are off to this.

Or for something stronger; try the real ale being sold at the Bottle & Glass Inn brewed as your Grandparents remember.

Most venues now offer group discounts on entrance charges and other additional extras. However, did you know you do not necessary need to belong to a formal organisation to pick up these discounts?
Why not club together with some friends and as long as you meet the minimum requirement numbers, then these savings can be considerable. At Wedgwood museum, groups of 12+ attract a third off the entrance price and at Alton Tower’s groups of 10+ are eligible for about 30% off the gate prices!
Another top tip from Topdogdays!
Open all year, the kids love this interactive experience of days gone by at the Black Country Living Museum.
What’s more, the museum is offering a 12 month season ticket for every daily admission to the centre. With a family ticket priced at £34.95 for 2 adults & 3 children, this is seriously good value for the year!
