With a 170m main slope, you can choose from ski-ing, snow boarding, tobogganing or adrenaline tubing. Thrill Hopper: this combines entry to the SnowDome, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Theme Park & WaterWorld. Of the four attractions, the SnowDome gives you the least return on your investment, (you have a choice of adrenaline tubing or tobogganing) but if you intend to visit each setting during the year, the Thrill Hopper offers savings up to 50%. Seasonal Discounts: it’s worth signing up to their mailing list as, off season, there are some great deals & vouchers to be had.

Using the slope unaided: you need to at an adequate level for ski-ing/snow boarding before you are let lose. Coaching is available to allow the inexperienced to reach the required recreational standard. Discount vouchers on coaching are generally available out of season.
Wrap up warm: whatever the weather outside, be sure to wrap up warm for the activities including hat and gloves as the temperatures range from 0 to 3 degree centigarde.
Pre book your activities: this is strongly recommended as the SnowDome runs on a timetable of activities that can also get booked up at busy times. Once you have booked your activity, it’s important to arrive in plenty of time kit yourself out beforehand.
Have a break
Take a Picnic: and make use of the fantantic park located in Tamworth castle grounds only a short walk across the pedestrian bridge. With an extensive playground, tennis courts and a miniature golf course, you can wile away some hours in here and enjoy lunch on the cheap. There are (20p), non-refunable lockers at the SnowDome.
Places to Eat: a limited choice of Aspens bar & restaurant & Starbucks coffee house.
If you want to guarantee yourself some snow, did you know that the SnowDome provides a ‘take away’ snow service? Snow-to-go can be purchased by the tonne for £500 but please note that collection must be organised by the customer!
Try a snow play session at the SnowDome. As close to real snow as you can get, let the children sledge, slide, have fun in the igloo or even enjoy a game of snowballs whatever the weather outside. 30 minute sessions are available for children from 2 years and above.
There are parking fees in operation; for SnowDome users, there is a £1 charge with pay machines located within the SnowDome.
There is a recently opened Holiday Inn express located next to the SnowDome if you are planning an overnight stay.
