Thrill Hopper Ticket; SnowDome time!

With our valued Thrill Hopper Ticket in tow, it’s was off to SnowDome, Tamworth for some adrenalin fuelled winter activities! With the theme parks closed, it seemed an ideal time to check out our final destination at the SnowDome.

Each Thrill Hopper ticket offers you one admission to all four of the following:

Water World
Alton Towers
Drayton Manor Theme Park
Tamworth Snowdome, (limited to specific activities)

You can use the Thrill Hopper ticket throughout the season with a single ticket priced at £44.95 or a family ticket for £129.95. This is a substantial saving against the cost of four separate entries to these attractions and, as it is valid throughout the season, you can space out your trips!

Your Thrill Hopper ticket is valid for either a 30 minute toboggan or tubing session at the SnowDome & it’s vital to pre-book your chosen activity as sessions run to specific times only.

Whilst all other settings under the Thrill Hopper ticket offer full day entrance, the SnowDome’s offer of one half hour activity session is less appealing. However if you view this more as a bonus activity or a chance to try something new, it’s a good additional extra under the scheme.

We chose the tobogganing activity and had the time of our lives taking on the slopes of Tamworth at breathtaking speed! By using the travelator to the top of the 170 metre main slope, you navigate the course by using the brakes on the toboggan to steer your way down the slope..or that’s the theory anyway! What a great way to finish off our Thrill Hopper tickets!

Thrill Hopper Ticket; off to Water World

With the weather closing in and armed with our trusted Thrill Hopper Ticket, off we tootled to Water World in Stoke for some water fun. The first advantage the Thrill Hopper ticket presented us with was bypassing the lengthy admission queues by making use of the fastrack entrance! Once our Thrill Hopper ticket had been stamped, we were free to explore the waterpark at leisure.

The other great perk with the Thrill Hopper ticket is that it is inter-changeable between friends and family. That is to say the Thrill Hopper is not bound to one person; the ticket offers you one admission to all four of Staffordshire’s top attractions but who uses the ticket at each attraction is up to you! So perhaps one child likes the theme parks, another the water park…it gives you the flexibility!

Ideas for teens; SnowDome Foam Party, Waterworld Aqua Party.

Looking for something a little bit different, then check out the new foam parties running at SnowDome, Tamworth! Aimed at teenagers, foam parties take place on the ice-rink with a foam cannon dispelling large quantities of…you’ve guessed it..foam onto the ice for added excitement. The next foam party has been organised for Friday 8th October from 7.30pm and costs £9 per person, including skate hire & live DJ.

If you don’t fancy the ice, then you may want to check out the aqua discos that run at Waterworld, Staffordshire every Friday night from 6pm. With chart topping music, games and giveaways, these nights are priced at £5.50 a person.

Thrill Hopper Ticket; Drayton Manor

The sun was out and Topdogdays took their Thrill Hopper tickets to Drayton Manor today to check them out…it’s a hard life but someone has to do it! If you’ve never heard of a Thrill Hopper ticket, this is a great way to experience the thrill of Staffordshire’s visitor attractions for a substantially lower price! Included within the ticket is entrance to all of the following:

Alton Towers
Waterworld
Drayton Manor Theme Park
Tamworth Snowdome, (limited to specific activities)

You can use the Thrill Hopper ticket throughout the season with a single ticket priced at £44.95 or a family ticket for £129.95.

So off to Drayton Manor Theme Park to we went. The Thrill Hopper tickets offers one visit to each attraction so our ticket was simply stamped to show we had used our Drayton Manor visit and were issued with Drayton Manor tickets for the turnstile.

Once in, we were away for a day of thrilling rides & experiences that kept us entertained the whole day through.. and for a sunny day, it wasn’t even too busy!
