Whilst the Waterpark is located within the Alton Towers Resort, it is open to non-residents.
What discounts are available?
Annual passholders are entitled to a 20% discount on day ticket prices when tickets are puchased in advance, (valid with both a Merlin or Alton Towers Annual Pass.) To book, contact Alton Towers on 0871 222 9903.
If your party can make up the stipulated numbers of adults & children, take advantage of the discounted family ticket packages on offer.
Check out the discounted Toddler sessions that run throughout the year for only £5 for you and a child under 6 years.
How busy does the Alton Towers Waterpark get?
Beware, it can get very busy in peak times and it is always best to book in advance to ensure entry on the day.
Are there any adult/child ratios that I need to be aware of at the Waterpark?
Yes, there are strict adult to child ratios at the Alton Towers Waterpark;
- 1 person over the age of 16: 1 child (4 years and under)
- 1 person over the age of 16: 2 children (ages 5-9)
- Under 10’s to be accompanied by a responsible adult
What’s this about a Lifedog at the Waterpark?
Oh yes… Alton Towers have hired a Lifedog, Max, to assist trained lifeguards at the Waterpark. Max is a newfoundland dog and apparently this breed of dog is renowned for it’s lifesaving skills?
