Free Tickets to Chessington World of Adventure

Visit Chessington World of Adventures between 2 & 22 July 2011, (having bought you tickets online at CWA), and if it rains for 30 mins or more during your visit, you can come back for free in September!

To gain your free tickets to Chessington, you must hold onto your original July tickets and present them at the ticket kiosk any day in September 2011!

Beware, weather conditions will be recorded by Chessington and to take advantage of this offer it will need to rain for at least 30 minutes or more! Free tickets will be issued like for like and if rains on your return trip in September, tickets will not be transferable!

Welcome Break service stations are currently issuing 2 for 1 Vouchers for Merlin Attraction with purchases of £5 or more. 2 for 1 Vouchers are valid at:

Each voucher gives 1 person free entry when accompanied by a full paying adult. The voucher is valid until 31 July 2011 with some exclusion on dates, (as set out in the small print on the voucher). Only one voucher can be used per transaction so split into small groups at the ticket kiosks to get value for money!

Passholder Days; Thorpe Park, Chessington & Legoland, Windsor

Theme Park/Merlin Passholders have a number of passholder events coming up in March. Merlin Entertainments open up these theme parks exclusively to those that hold a valid annual pass and often this offers a chance to enjoy the rides away from the crowds.

Thorpe Park Passholder Event 2011

Running on the 13 March from 10am-5pm, this gives passholders the chance to be among the first to try out Storm Surge, the latest water ride to open at Thorpe Park.

Chessington World of Adventures Passholder Event 2011

Running on 20 March from 10am to 4pm, Chessington World of Adventures will be opening it’s doors early to passholders & their guests.

Legoland, Windsor Passholder Event 2011

Running on two dates, 27 & 28 March from 10am to 6pm this give passholders even more exclusive time to try out the rides away from the crowds.

Each passholder event is open to valid passholders, (free of charge) and up to two guests, (guests will be charged £10 per person).

This can also be a way to pick up a deal on a Premium Merlin Pass or a Standard Merlin Pass so it’s worth keeping your eye out for this one too!

Half Price Merlin Pass from Birmingham Sea Life

Half Price Merlin Passes, (April 2011 – this deal has now expired). are currently available from Birmingham Sea Life Centre. This deal is running until 28 February 2011 with an individual half price Merlin Pass setting you back £72.

Worth noting that this standard Merlin Pass has lost some of it’s benefits as set out below;

there is no free parking with this pass
no entry to London Eye, Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon, Sea Life London during August
no entry to Legoland, Windsor before 2pm in August
additional fee for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park

However with access to wide range of Merlin attractions, such as Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventure, Legoland, Sea Life Centre & plenty more, this is still a pretty good deal for the year!

Tesco 2 for 1 vouchers for Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington are popping through your post boxes at the moment with your Tesco clubcard statements. Enclosed within the statement is a 1 free entry voucher, (with accompanying full paying adult) valid at:

So officially the first 2 for 1 voucher for Merlin Attractions for 2011 although it is not valid at Alton Towers until 26 March 2011. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer including pre-purchased tickets. Whilst Tesco have issued each clubcard holder with two vouchers, only one coupon can be used per person/per transaction so remember to queue up into smaller numbers at the ticket kiosks!
