Terror of the Towers at Alton Towers

Scarefest at Alton Towers kicked off on Saturday, with new experiences available that are not for the faint hearted or suitable for children under 14.  Terror of the Towers is located within the The Towers, (close to Hex) and offers an eerie tour around the ruins in the dark complete with moving props, confined spaces and weird frights goings on.  Although free to enter, the queues have been up to 90 minutes long!  Limited fast track tickets are available for £5 if you wish to reduce your wait to 10/15 minutes.  Open from 12noon to 9pm during scarefest, you might want to plan this into your itinerary.
