Alton Towers have recently disclosed additional details for the new ride, Thirteen that opens to the public on 20 March 2010.  For ultimate rollercoaster fans, a preview weekend has been launched at Alton Tower’s Resort on 12 & 13 March.

During the weekend you will meet the team behind the project, receive a behind the scene tour of Thirteen as well as unlimited use of Splash Landings & mini-golf on resort.  Prices include dinner, bed and breakfast and start at £99 per person based on 2 people sharing.  Use your Merlin/Alton Towers pass for a 10% discount.

Be aware, the event does not guarantee a ride on Thirteen as it may not be ready in time, but then again everything could be in place and ready to go!
