A family & friends railcard gives you a third off adult fares and 60% off children fares for a twelve month period. Simply put, it can be cheaper to travel by train, (not to mention easier & more environmentally friendly!).
The family & friends railcard is currently on offer for £19.50, (usual price £26) Valid until 31 March, this maybe a good investment for your future travel plans.
Remember many train operators are also offering discounted entrance charges to top attractions when travelling by train.

The ‘bloody horrible ticket’ is a way of combining entry to Thorpe Park & the London Dungeons and picking up a discount in the process.

Alton Towers have announced they intend to run ‘big brother’ style auditions to find the ultimate candidates to be the first to ride, Thirteen, at Alton Towers.
Applications are invited from midnight on 3 February from those over eighteen only. You need to be available to take part in a boot camp on 2 & 3 March to be put through a succession of gruelling tasks to ensure they are up for the challenge!
